How WowGold works

What this site is

WowGold is a price list, not a shop. The gold is offered by sellers who trade on a partner marketplace, and we gather their current offers into one table per version of the game, with a row for every EU realm they cover. Pressing Horde or Alliance takes you to the seller's own page with the realm and side already chosen.

As we don't sell anything, we can't change a price, guarantee a delivery time or give a refund. What we can do is list every offer as it stands, and say so plainly when a realm has nobody selling on it.

Delivery

Most sellers use in-game mail: you give the character name and realm, they post the gold, and it lands in your mailbox within the time shown on the offer. Some also offer a face-to-face trade for bigger orders, where their character meets yours in a capital city.

The delivery time is the seller's promise, counted from when your payment goes through on their site. It isn't an average we worked out.

Paying from the UK

Every price on WowGold is in euros, because that is the currency the sellers charge in. A UK card or PayPal pays a euro total the same way it pays any European shop, converting at your provider's rate. Some cards add a small foreign transaction fee, so it is worth a look before a big order.

Retail and Mists of Pandaria gold is priced per ten thousand coins, Classic Anniversary and Forever gold per single coin. The per-1,000 figure on the tables turns them all into one scale.

Keeping your account safe

A gold order needs three things from you: a character name, its realm and its faction. It never needs your Battle.net email, your password, an authenticator code or any kind of account access. Anyone asking for those is after your account, not delivering to it, so walk away and tell us.

Buying gold breaks Blizzard's terms of service, and accounts caught doing it can be penalised. No seller can make that risk disappear. It shrinks with order sizes that look like ordinary trading, sellers who deliver from gold they already hold, and never sharing your login with anyone.

Refunds and problems with an order

Refunds are handled by the seller you bought from, under the terms on their checkout. Your money never passes through us, so we have nothing to refund. If a seller on WowGold fails to deliver and won't put it right, let us know: sellers who don't honour their offers are taken off the site.

EU and US realms

UK players are on the European realms, and those are a separate world from the American ones. Gold on Draenor EU can't be sent to Draenor US, and the prices differ too. Everything on WowGold is for the EU region, so if your character lives on a US realm, this is the wrong list.
